2016-17 Topps Match Attax UEFA Champions League #DOR9 Christian Pulisic
Match Attax is the world’s best selling soccer trading card game (TCG), produced by Topps since 2006 across different soccer leagues around the world, including for the UEFA Champions League tournament. These TCG cards allow two players to play a game against each other within a set of rules that govern formations, player selection, and tactics using player statistic ratings on the cards to decide the winner of individual sequences of play and, ultimately, the game.
Christian Pulisic’s Borussia Dortmund club team qualified for the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League tournament, giving Pulisic two rookie cards (2016-17 Topps Match Attax UEFA Champions League #DOR9 and 2016-17 Topps UEFA Champions League Showcase #25 Christian Pulisic) and one rookie sticker (2016-17 Topps UEFA Champions League Stickers #DOR12/DOR 13 Christian Pulisic & Julian Weigl) belonging to UEFA Champions League sets.
Christian Pulisic’s 2016-17 Topps Match Attax UEFA Champions League #DOR9 comes in three different language variations: an English version (the most common version worldwide by far), an Argentinian version in Spanish and a Brazilian version in Portuguese. Both the Spanish and Portuguese versions appear quite rare. A Nordic version of the trading card packs was released as well, but does not feature a distinct version of a Pulisic card.
This card has back borders that often appear to show rough edges and is a very difficult grade. As of January 2026, of the 79 copies graded by PSA, only 6 have graded as a PSA 10. Only two copies have been graded at BGS, one with a 9.5 grade and one with a 9 grade. Four have been graded at SGC (split between two different databases), none of which have been graded 10. Only one has been graded at CGC, which has been graded an 8.5. The various registries do not indicate that a single Argentinian or Brazilian version has been graded as of January 2026, underscoring just how rare these two versions are.
